I am a ‘fifty something’ retired nurse, married to Geoff and I have one son Philip who has now flown the nest. We live in Worthing in West Sussex. I originate from Lancashire, where I trained as an S.R.N. some years ago at Preston School of Nursing.
I do enjoy wasting time by exploring the internet, particularly Genealogical, & writing sites. I have compiled my family tree on my maternal side (or for a different format at the family Tree maker site) and at present have traced one particular branch back to the 17th Century. I am fortunate in that the surnames that I am tracing are unusual - Seguss and Hipkin.
My husband Geoff is also retired and our joke has always been that when he retired I would go back out to work but I can't honestly see that happening as I have too much on my 'To Do' list. At the top of that list at the moment is to 'get down' to some more writing. I am in the process of writing a story about a family of Fairie Dragons I also try to post a blog on a regular basis. I also enjoy travelling in our campervan, reading, listening to music, knitting, crochet and counted cross stitch.
